The Federalist Press Number 88: Masks & Christ

To the Citizens of the United States

To be used as a template for our citizens with the first draft being formed for North Carolina.

We Citizens must demonstrate our understanding of the executive order 169 signed by Governor Cooper and know that we are not acting within the entire spirit of the Lord.

We all understand that our leaders have mandated masks and face coverings. Governor Cooper first issued his mandate for all citizens within North Carolina in NC EO 169:

“WHEREAS, guidance from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (“NCDHHS”) strongly recommends that all individuals wear a Face Covering when they may be less than six (6) feet from other people, and that businesses and organizations provide Face Coverings or Surgical Masks for workers, as appropriate; and”

NC EO 169 was the first executive order that mandated all citizens to wear a mask. EO 169 also pulled its authority from EO 147, EO 141, and more all the way back to NC EO 116. Unfortunately for hundreds of thousands of citizens within North Carolina and the Nation, we were primed by the media, and the unfair enforcement that was put on businesses, to believe there was no other law within the land but MANDATORY MASK MANDATES. This is not only untrue but directly acts within the Leviathan spirit to counter our walk with Christ as outlined in the bible.

NC EO 169 outlines the always overlooked and often dismissed exemptions. I have added two core exemptions below from the executive order many in the media, our politicians, and neighbors bypass as they subject us to fear and avoid the truth of our laws leading us to not follow Christ appropriately.

“1.2. Exemptions. Worship, religious, and spiritual gatherings, funeral ceremonies, wedding ceremonies, and other activities constituting the exercise of First Amendment rights are exempt from all the requirements of this Executive Order, notwithstanding any other provision ofthis Executive Order. 8 The undersigned strongly urges that entities and individuals engaging in these exempted activities follow the Recommendations to Promote Social Distancing and Reduce Transmission, wear and require Face Coverings, and avoid exceeding Emergency Maximum Occupancy in the places where they meet.”

Also, EO 169 also outlines:

“2.4. Exceptions. This Executive Order does not require Face Coverings for- and a Face Covering does not need to be worn by- a worker or Guest who: a. Should not wear a Face Covering due to any medical or behavioral condition or disability (including, but not limited to, any person who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious or incapacitated, or is otherwise unable to put on or remove the Face Covering without assistance); b. Is under five (5) years of age; c. Is actively eating or drinking; d. Is strenuously exercising; e. Is seeking to communicate with someone who is hearing-impaired in a way that requires the mouth to be visible; f. Is giving a speech for a broadcast or to an audience· g. Is working at home or is in a personal vehicle; h. Is temporarily removing his or her Face Covering to secure government or medical services or for identification purposes; 1. Would be at risk from wearing a Face Covering at work, as determined by local, state, or federal regulations or workplace safety guidelines; J. Has found that his or her Face Covering is impeding visibility to operate equipment or a vehicle; or k. Is a child whose parent, guardian, or responsible person has been unable to place the Face Covering safely on the child’s face. Anyone who declines to wear a Face Covering for these reasons should not be required to produce documentation or any other proof of a condition. Children under two (2) years of age should not wear a Face Covering.”

I am constantly trying to become a better Christian myself and have struggled with the Covid mask requirements (among other things) since the beginning of this pandemic from a Biblical frame, and then from a Constitutional frame (both fed and state) and; I have been led by the spirit to believe that IF our leaders have mandated masks, BUT, have carved out exemptions, THEN, it is of the Christian nature and way to follow the leaders AND to love one another’s individual choices as to wear or not wear a mask.

This conclusion was lead by the readings outlined below and the Spirit working within.

Romans 13:1 Every person must obey the leaders of the land. There is no power given but from God, and all leaders are allowed by God.

Paul further elaborates,

Romans 13:9-10  “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Anyone who loves his neighbor will do no wrong to him. You keep the Law with love.

After Paul outlines who the true power is given from and how we must treat our neighbors, Luke helps us understand the functions of the body of the church and how we must pay careful attention to the flock. We should take even more careful consideration to the members of our flock who are not strong enough to stand up for themselves against the tides of deceit and subjugation by mask mandates.

Acts 20:28 Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.

Then, Paul again helps us understand how to care for the flock, ourselves, and the church by taking up the Armor of God:

Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

I understand that hermeneutics and cherry-picking verses are very controversial but as Christians, we must base our actions on Christ and his words and works. I believe now is the time for the body of Christ to rise up, fasten the belt of truth and take up the shield of faith as we push back against the forces of deceit and evil which have been enacted to weaken us and keep us in the dark and out of Gods truth and plan for us.

Are you willing to pick up the armor, follow the law, protect the flock, and honor the Lord?
