NC 2022 budget: Tyrannical overreach in session
There is a rally being formed outside the legislative building in downtown Raleigh right now. (19:00EST 6/30/2022) to make our voices heard in opposition to the tyrannical parts of the legislative budget.

The 2022 North Carolina budget session is currently underway. (19:27EST 6/30/2022). This budget is extremely bloated with spending in the millions that support abortion clinics, woke agendas, and various other Marxists agendas.
The particular part we want to highlight for immediate action is on page 95. The screenshot above shows the particular language that is the most concerning:
“AUTHORIZATION FOR STATE HEALTH DIRECTOR TO ISSUE STATEWIDE STANDING ORDERS TO FACILITATE THE ADMINISTRATION OF COVID-19 VACCINATIONS, DIAGNOSTIC TESTS, OR OTHER TREATMENTS”
First things first. This particular language has NOTHING to do with the budget. It makes no mention of money, expenditures, or anything related to finances.
Second, it gives the NC state HHS director the powers of the governor to enact emergency “standing orders” to facilitate whatever the HHS director determines is in the best interest of the citizens of the state. To be clear, the HHS director will have the authority to enact any measure pertaining to the health and welfare concerning vaccines, testing, and treatment.
It doesn’t end there. The HHS director will have the power to quarantine any “class or category of persons”. This means the HHS will have the power to target anyone for any reason for quarantine. There is no language in the bill that would prevent any misuse or abuse of this power. Nor, is there any language that would limit the use of this provision.
The bill further gives this power to the local HHS directors as well.
There is language in the bill that states that the HHS director can’t force the COVID-19 vaccine, but makes no mention of the boosters; or the current poison pill, the monkeypox vaccine. This means the HHS could force any other vaccine on the population within North Carolina.
The questions we need to ask are:
- Why is this in the BUDGET BILL?
- Why is the HHS getting the power to quarantine the state for 7 days and individuals for 30?
- What is the definition of “Class” and “Category” when it comes to people?
- What else is tucked within this multibillion-dollar spending bill that is tyrannical and oppressing?
