Calling out the Counterfeit: Pride Month
How can we identify and call out the counterfeit of the pride movement? The Pride Flag.
North Carolina is in full-blown “Pride” month. June has been declared by Gov. Cooper and many other local and county governments by proclamation as “Pride Month”. This movement is very insidious and is secretly and overtly in direct conflict with God’s rules and laws for us as humans and children of the Lord. In this article, we are going to call out the Counterfeit of the LGBTQ Pride movement for what it is. The enemy (evil) in our world can produce a 99.9% counterfeit (85% in this case) of what God has created but will never be able to match the wonders and beauty of our creator.
Pride Month is the month of June in which every combination of mental illness and sexual orientation celebrates openly the counterfeit created by the enemy. Our national social and corporate culture has adopted the plan of the enemy to highlight a minority (4% of our state) and push the agenda onto the other 96% in our state. Our government, our schools, our corporations, and many other agencies in between all align in agreement with the agenda and show support during pride month with various outward and visible concessions. They change logos to include the pride flag, make proclamations for entire states and cities, post pride flags and imagery on social media posts, storefronts, and retail centers, and empose on the majority within the state. How can we identify and call out the counterfeit of the pride movement? The Pride Flag.
This flag on the surface seems to be very familiar. This flag, the colors, and the order are directly modeled after the rainbow that was given to us by God.
In order to call out the counterfeit and the lie of the enemy, we must understand what God created, the components of the original (rainbow), and have been left out and then why. God set the rainbow in the sky after the great flood. This event was decided to destroy his creation after he saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Gen. 6: 5. Noah found grace in God’s eyes and was told to make an ark and establish his covenant. The rainbow was the result of that covenant between man and God.
13. I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
Genesis 9: 13-16
The seven colors of the rainbow are in a specific order; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The six colors of the pride flag (rainbow) are in the following specific order; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.
The pride flag specifically leaves out the color indigo. We are going to assign a numeric value of 6 to this as well. Indigo is the sixth color of God’s rainbow and the missing color from the pride flag. As stated before in the article, the enemy can only counterfeit God and when you fraction out 6/7 you are left with 85% authentic.
This is very important to recognize and understand.
6. I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7. which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9. As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! 10. Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Galations 1: 6-10
The pride flag is the counterfeit of God’s promise to us. Even the label “Pride” is the removal of the promise. But, this counterfeit goes deeper than just leaving out a color.
Once you can understand the mechanism the enemy has used to make the counterfeit you can apply the math to the other blessings, events, and creations of the Lord. Let’s look at how leaving out the sixth color (indigo) from the pride flag exposes the plans and worries of the enemy and can provide us with the strategy to overcome this evil.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1 teaches us that. Most seculars and all Christians understand that God completed this task in 7 days.
How God created everything and on what day is important. God created things in the following order. 1. Light. 2. Atmosphere/Fermemant. 3. Dry ground and plants. 4. Sun, moons and stars. 5. Birds and sea creatures. 6. Land animals and Humans. 7. God rested and blessed his creation.
When you apply the enemies equation to the creation of eath and humans you can understand why he must use counterfeits.
26. Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” 27. So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

The LGBTQ movement is the denial of God’s initial creation and intentions in our lives. By choosing your own sex, orientation, and identity you are denying the 6th day of creation in your symbolic push of pride. This leads right into what God gave us to understand the mind of God and how we interact within the body of Christ and how the counterfeit denies you your gifts and what the enemy can’t stand within “his” plan for us and the Earth. RULE.
3. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5. so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7. if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8. if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to rule, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Romans 12: 3-8
The enemy cannot stand to share his kingdom with others who have the spiritual gift of ruler. In fact, the enemy will specifically target rulers and try to hijack the spiritual gift for his purpose. God gave humans dominion over everything on the earth. This includes the former angels and satan that were cast out of heaven by God. (Ezekiel 28:17; Isaiah 14:13-14; Revelation 12:3-4, Revelation 12:9) The enemy does not want you to know that you have dominion and power over him in every way imaginable. Rulers stand in the way of the enemy and his plans to kill, steal, and destroy.
Then, by exposing his plan to leave out the sixth, the enemy then attempts to rob you of one of the Holy Furnishings. The seven main furnishings portray the development of the Christian from the time he approaches Christ initially until he arrives at the full salvation of God. They are: 1. Altar of Burnt Offering (Exodus 27:1). 2. Laver (Exodus 30:18). 3. Table of Showbread (Exodus 25:23). 4. Lampstand (Exodus 25:31). 5. Altar of Incense (Exodus 30:1). 6. Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:10). 7. Mercy Seat (Exodus 25:17).
The enemy specifically is trying to keep you from the sixth Holy Furnishing. The Ark of the Covenant.
The Ark of the Covenant typifies the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore the saint of God in whom Christ is being formed, who is overcoming sin in his daily walk, and who is learning perfect obedience to the Father. In his heart are the following three graces:
- The Ten Commandments—the Law of God wrought in his character.
- The memorial jar of manna—daily strength from Christ; the body and blood of Christ, our daily Bread from Heaven; the trait of depending continually on Christ each moment of the day for all matters great and small.
- Aaron’s rod that budded—the power of eternal resurrection life that operates in the priesthood God has chosen.
The enemy uses a specific language and a code to prevent you from denying him and turning to Christ. And speaking of Christ, let’s apply the enemy’s math to the seven sayings from Jesus on the Cross. 1. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” — Luke 23:34. 2. “Today shalt thou be with Me in paradise.” — Luke 23:43. 3. “Woman, behold thy Son.” — John 19:26. 4. “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” — Mark 15:34. 5. “I thirst.” — John 19:28. 6. “It is finished.” — John 19:30. 7. “Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit.” — Luke 23:46
The enemy is trying to deny the fact that his time is limited if not over. Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins and to provide us with the holy spirit and the ability to get to the Father.
28. Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” 29. A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. 30. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 19: 28-30
The LGBTQ pride movement is a 100% counterfeit that only lands at the 85% mark. It seeks to pervert God’s promise by removing Indigo, destroy the image of God from creation, hijack the spiritual gift of Ruler from the body of Christ, hide Christ from us, and prolong his reign on Earth.
